Bus Shelter

2130 Milam St, Houston, TX 77002

This work merges two worlds, bringing together perspectives from multiple sides into a unified visual and poetic narrative. The handwritten words of Outspoken Bean embody both power and vulnerability, becoming a literal part of the composition. The poems and illustrations exist in dialogue, with each image amplifying and reinforcing the text. Together, text and image form a layered meditation that honors the fullness of life, acknowledges the weight of heartache, and gestures toward the possibility of revival.

Under Pass

2011–2001 Milam St, Houston, TX 77002

“Home is Horizon” is a collaborative public art initiative that uplifts personal stories of homelessness to foster empathy, challenge stigma, and inspire community-led change. Rooted in Houston’s Housing First progress, the project highlights the human right to home through visual storytelling and lived experience. It reminds us that ‘home’ should be within reach for all—not just a dream on the horizon.
